Nth Sunshine Coast
The northern part of the Sunshine Coast encompasses (in my view) the beaches from Mooloolaba to as far north as Rainbow Beach.
I have devoted a whole separate collection to Caloundra, as that is where I spent nearly forty years of my life.
As I grew up near the North Coast (as it was then called) I must admit that I will always hold a soft spot for the area.
Each stretch of beach has its own individuality.
I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to paint a number of scenes - from the coloured sands near Rainbow and Teewah beaches, south to the spectacular beaches around Noosa, Coolum Beach, through to Maroochydore and the holiday haven of Alexandra Headlands and Mooloolaba. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed painting them!
